Quick update on the micees. They disappeared in the night, wish I had set up a camera to see what took them. Probably a local cat presented them proudly to its owner in bed this morning, pretending he had hunted them down!
I bought a microscope yesterday, bit of fun. Thought I would have look at some plants. Top one is a bit of daisy stamen.

I shall have to have a further play, but having fun. I did want to put a bee under, but all carcasses around the hive are currently quite crusty, I will wait until I have a reasonably fresh one.
